William D. Schwarz is a practicing Architect who began his architectural practice with the Balsamo/Olson Group in 1978 becoming the Director of Operations in 1989, partner with Balsamo, Olson & Lewis in 1999, and now Owner/Partner of Schwarz Lewis Design Group, which started in 2009. Mr. Schwarz is registered in 5 US states, and is NCARB certified. His responsibities include and are not limited to, the administration of the architectural services, and is involved with projects from conception to completion, and directly supervise all phases of services. Those services include zoning/ Land planning, design, creation of working drawings, and specifications to construction administration. Mr. Schwarz is also heavily involved in the coordination of structural and MEP consultants while monitoring construction costs and schedules to ensure each project is completed on-time and within budget, and his work experience is widely diversified ranging from military housing, production and custom homes, apartments and condominiums, recreational facilities, retail, office buildings and governmental facilities.

Mr. Schwarz Apartment/ Condo projects include Regency Place a 4 story 112 unit condo/apartment over 2 levels of parking, a club house and 15,000 s.f. of out lot retail, in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois; AMLI at Seven Bridges a 5 story over 2 levels of parking, 520 total Apartment units and a 6,750 square foot club house in Woodridge, Illinois; The Ravines a 8 story over 2 levels of parking, 100 units, Condominium at The Town of Fort Sheridan, Highland Park, Illinois.

Mr. Schwarz Office projects include Park View a 9 story over 2 levels of parking, 263,000 square foot office building and park recreation facility in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois.

Mr. Schwarz Hotel projects include Oak Brook Hills a 12 story, 400 room hotel with conference/banquet facility, health club and 18 hole golf course in Westmont, Illinois

Mr. Schwarz Recreational projects include George Young Recreational Complex a 25,000 square foot club house and recreational center with an indoor pool in Iron Mountain, Michigan.
